A few weeks ago our wide-format print production team spent some time over at LaVell Edwards Stadium installing signage in the student section for the BYU football marketing department. This year, BYU sports and marketing has branded the student section at sporting events The ROC which is short for Roar of the Cougars. In order to promote the new student section name, BYU wanted to produce a variety of marketing materials, and Alexander’s was there to help them out.
For the large signage, BYU needed something that would be resistant to rough weather, and last throughout their season. But most importantly, they needed something big and eye-catching. We provided custom-fit “Roar as One” banners to decorate the stands. In addition to the custom outdoor adhesive vinyl, we provided about 20 banners to adorn the student section, and other signs that are placed around the stadium.
Another aspect of the BYU football marketing project, were the chloroplast signs we printed and assembled. The BYU marketing team needed signs students could hold to engage the crowd and manage cheering. Using our flatbed printer and I-Cut machine, we created oversized octagonal signs, mounted on sticks. At certain points throughout football games, students use the signs through the stands, getting the fans excited, on their feet and cheering for the team.
At Alexander’s we can manage large, short-turn, or rush orders on any print or marketing order. We’re here to help you plan, manage and execute any marketing or event needs you may have, big or small. Just let us know what we can do to help.
