Finding successful marketing solutions is often a company’s largest and most consistent hurdle. What do businesses do when they need to market a business or a product but don’t have the in-house resources to do so? We’ve found that our clients’ marketing efforts tend to succeed when they follow certain patterns. I’ve made the following list of elements we’ve used to help our customers accomplish what they wouldn’t be able to do without outside support.

Creative Consulting

A few weeks ago Franklin Covey contacted one of our print consultants about some issues they were facing with selling materials for a new class. After discussing the target market and the situation, our print consultant determined that unique packaging was the answer to promoting the sale of the materials. He and our design team built a prototype, presented it to the client and created a unique solution to Franklin Covey’s marketing problem.

When a client comes in and consults with our team of print consultants, marketing professionals and graphic designers, we’re able to offer holistic approaches to solving their problem. In other words, we consider how to integrate technology, social media, digital advertising, printed elements and creative design to most effectively reach their marketing needs.

Fresh Design

It’s extremely important to keep branding consistent for companies, but all too often people rely on the same artwork or design for all their marketing collateral. When you’re looking for a marketing solution, consider the advice of a designer. A fresh eye and some updated design may be just what your project needs.

We recently worked with HireVue to create a packaged custom game board that they could hand out at trade shows and events. We created a folded card stock envelope to enclose the poster-sized game board and other printed collateral materials. This envelope helped HireVue find an easy-to-hand out way to interact with potential clients, even after they’d walked away from the HireVue rep.

Integration of Print

According to Pitney Bowes Survey, 76% of small businesses state that their ideal marketing mix is a combination of print and digital communications. So whether it’s custom packaging, unique game boards, direct mail, or any other printed marketing collateral, be sure to include print in your marketing plan. Print provides your target audience a way to interact and engage with your brand that digital communications cannot.

Digital Communication

Once you’ve incorporated printed materials, be sure those materials include information about your website and social channels. Your printed materials should drive your target audience to engage with you online. Many companies have digital communications strategies or in-house social media teams, but if you don’t, be sure your marketing plan includes digital communications.

We wish you all the best in your marketing efforts. If you need solutions, or just want to amplify your marketing collateral, contact us to set up a consultation. We’d love to help.
