It’s been a great week here at Alexander’s! As usual, we’re keeping busy on all fronts.
Black and White Printing
Let’s start with our black and white department. Our staff there has been printing books and journals like crazy. We print text, lined pages, grids or anything else imaginable. We then take those pages, bind them, combine them with covers, cut them, box them and ship them all over the world.
Wide Format Printing
Our wide format department has been busy too! Part of Alexander’s work comes from MyCanvas, a tool originally developed by Ancestry.com to print photo books and posters for family history. We’ve been printing and shipping posters all week! In addition to posters, we print photo albums, calendars and so much more. See those products here. We’ve also been printing lots of promotional posters for small businesses in the area, which we love to do.
Production
Production has been working away too. This is the season for all sorts of invites, and we’ve seen that! We’re printing them like crazy. We’ve done wedding save-the-date cards, high school graduation announcements, college graduation announcements and more.
A Fun Project
We’ve also been printing and assembling training materials for Franklin Covey. The package includes a book, two note pads, a notebook, training cards, 3D glasses and is all packaged up in a box gracefully held tight with a Velcro opening. It’s quite a sight to see.
Even though this week is winding down, we know we’ve got more work ahead, and we’re excited.
