We come in contact with thousands of ads on a daily basis. Bombarded with billboards or online advertisements at every corner but how many do you actually pay attention to? Unless you are in marketing or advertising the answer is, you probably don’t pay attention to many if any. So how do we as business get the average John/Jane to pay attention?
As it turns out, many people, especially the younger generation, don’t mind being advertised and marketed to, if they find the advertisements clever, entertaining or otherwise engaging. Funny videos, clever campaigns or catchy signs with a humorous message often get a second look, a click or an action from people, where others don’t.
We’ve put together some of our favorite examples of clever printed outdoor advertising that we believe make the cut to be entertaining enough for audiences to pay attention.
What is your plan? Not sure where to start? Contact us! We at Alexander’s do everything from marketing to design to wide-format printing, meaning we can create something as impressive as these to catch your audience’s attention. Let’s start collaborating on your next project.

These examples are so cool. I always love seeing what unique ideas other marketers come up with for advertising. My favorite is the elephant. It really stood out. Thanks for sharing this great post!
This is the right way of usage of outdoor advertising. Today’s marketing needs to be innovative and creative to fill the expectations of people not bore them.
