Today we’re sharing an infographic from Reachmail that presents seven ways to run an unsuccessful mobile email campaign.
We know that none of our readers and clients are trying to launch an unsuccessful email campaign, but we think this infoposter is helpful in pointing out a few things to avoid.
With smartphone usage on the rise, making email campaigns mobile-friendly is essential and involves more than just ensuring that the mail message fits the small screen format.
To be mobile-ready, a message or page should be concise and down-scaled. Everything from the body of the email, to the subject line and product descriptions should be reduced to the most essential words and elements.
We recommend using short phrases and smaller images that are sized to approximately 180 by 360 pixels.
Also be sure that links are clickable and products are easy to find and purchase.
