Whoa! Another busy week at Alexander’s.

This week we’ve been working on all fronts: vehicle wraps, large format signage, training materials, business cards, fulfillment, book printing and more.

This week’s vehicle wrap

This cool truck was one of our favorite projects of the week. We worked with the client to design and layout the vision for their truck. We then took that and put it into a template designed for the specific model of their vehicle to make sure it would be exactly the right fit. We have access to templates for hundreds of makes and models, which makes doing vehicle wraps one of our specialties.

Short run book printing

Another specialty of ours is short-run book printing. This includes smaller orders of several hundred or a few thousand books, printed quickly using our digital printing equipment. These books are printed, cut and bound right here at Alexander’s.

Training materials

We have a long standing relationship with the business training organization Franklin Covey. We’ve been printing their training materials, books, trade show booths and uncountable other projects for a long time. This week was a fun project: training materials asking their participants to “Ask this 6th Grader!”

Each booklet we print for them is specially catered to each of their training programs. We’d love to sit in on this one to learn from them, almost as much as their last one.

Large format signs

Our wide format department is always busy printing banners, signage, cut outs and so much more. This week saw a fun cut out sign for a client that wanted their message to really pop. Our printers and cutting machines can easily cut lettering and designs into dozens of substrates, depending on the needs of our clients.

Binding

Many of the projects we do are multiple-page pieces that need to be bound in one way or another. We do most everything from perfect binding to spiral binding and lots in between. Here’s a booklet that’s just about to be bound, in the next day or two. We print the pages, laminate them, cut them to size, punch the holes and then finally bind them, all here in house in our Lindon, Utah facility.

Business Cards

We consider ourselves masters of business cards. We can print nearly any shape, size and color on nearly any substrate.

We’re also masters of efficiency. We use Divvy, our online ordering program to allow large multi-location companies to order business cards for any of their employees in any location in the world at any time. That means we print personalized business cards for hard working people all over the world pretty much all the time!

Fulfillment

Not only do we print and print and print, we also ship and ship and ship. See the stack of packages in the pictures below to see what we mean. This is just a glimpse into what we do And yeah, we’ve gotten to know the UPS, USPS and DHL employees really well.

Tricks up our sleeve

Not only do we print for clients, but we print for ourselves: events, internal communications and more. We’ve got a fun project going that’s definitely keeping us occupied: planning our customer celebration party. Here’s a sneak peek at something we’re working on. We shrank the photo down a bit because we don’t want to ruin the surprise!
