Ken-Ford-Murdock-HyundaiLast week we worked on a fun project with Murdock Hyundai of Lindon involving falcon board. We first met the Murdock Hyundai team at a local golf tournament where they saw our Chip and Win banner game. After seeing how they could utilize permanent signage to draw audience engagement at events like this, they came to us looking to order some similar banners to use at their own promotional booth on September 7, 2013 for the BYU football game at Lavell Edwards stadium.

At Alexander’s, when customers come in with requests like this, we like to sit down with them and brainstorm until we get the right solution to meet their needs. As our print consultants chatted with the Murdock Hyundai team, they realized that we could offer them a bigger, more impressive game set up for their booth by using falcon board, instead of a vinyl banner. This solution allowed them an eye-popping display that was more interactive, and better utilized the provided space in the stadium.

We typically use falcon board to build trade show booths, because they’re lightweight, easy to ship and assemble, and we can design, cut and shape them to satisfy almost any design. This time, the brainstorming session resulted in a falcon board game where game attendees could throw a football through various holes in the falcon board to win either a free oil change, a year of oil changes, a lifetime of oil changes, or an iPad. We built two of these falcon board displays on Friday, and they were ready to go for the big game, the next day.

We hope you not only had a chance to stop by one of the Murdock Hyundai booths during the game on Saturday, but that you also won an oil change or an iPad.

If you have any print or marketing needs, let us know. We’d love to help.
