To motivate sales employees during the off-season, Vivint, a Utah-based security systems company, hosts internal selling competitions. Our friends in the Vivint marketing department were looking for the best way to execute a campaign that would generate hype and encourage their sales team to get excited about selling, so they came to Alexander’s.

Our print and marketing consultants showed them a series of cutouts we had created for other clients, and reviewed the various possibilities of building wide-format print displays. Together, Alexander’s and Vivint produced multiple 3D cutout displays ranging in size up to eight feet square.

Each month different cutouts are placed throughout Vivint headquarters to promote the sales competition. The colorful and fun cutouts—printed on sheets of foam core and cut on Alexander’s i-cut machine—highlight the types of prizes sales team members could win.

“The 3D cutouts have been essential to our off-season competitions,” said Alex Vaughn, one of Vivint’s marketing team graphic designers. “They helped us create a fun internal advertising campaign like none we have done before.”
