Local marketers and businesses are invited to attend an Alexander’s Academy Direct Mail Marketing Workshop taught by Kelly Thompson, print and marketing consultant.

The event will take place June 25 from noon to 1:00 p.m. and lunch will be served. Alexander’s is hosting the workshop for free as part of the Alexander’s Academy, a quarterly professional development series. Alexander’s is a print and marketing firm based in Lindon, Utah.

This Alexander’s Academy workshop is for anyone looking to boost sales, increase brand awareness, or reach a specific audience with their marketing strategy. The class will highlight direct mail marketing and teach attendees how to develop the perfect direct mail campaign.

During the direct mail marketing workshop attendees will learn:

• What has worked well for others in various industries
• The rule of 6: Six things you have to include in your direct mail piece
• Metrics and expectations for direct mail campaign results

Kelly Thompson will lead the free 60 minute workshop. Thompson has developed and overseen numerous direct mail marketing campaigns for Alexander’s clients, many of which resulted in more than 10-times the return on the cost of the direct mail campaign.
