Alexander’s set to sponsor charity golf marathon
Alexander’s is teaming up with Sleepy Ridge Golf Course to host the 5th Annual Utah Golf Marathon. This 54-hole golf tournament is also a charitable event. All net proceeds will be donated to the Crystal Hadlock Assistance Fund.
The golf tournament goes from sun-up, to sun down. Starting at 7 a.m. and ending at 7 p.m. 20 teams of four will compete in three rounds of golf—a four-person scramble, a two-person scramble and an 18-hole individual round. Other competitions will be taking place, and prizes will be awarded at the end of the day.
The tournament is supporting a great cause, but it’s also a lot of fun. Anyone 14 and above can participate. Cost for a four person team is $1,250. A hole sponsorship is $1,000 and gives you the opportunity to promote your business as people pass by.
The tournament is supporting the Crystal Hadlock cause. Crystal was born with only one kidney. Recently, during an ‘Auto-Transplant’ surgery, she experienced complications and they had to remove her one remaining kidney. Crystal is currently on dialysis awaiting a kidney transplant. Surgeries are very expensive, not to mention past and present medical bills.
If you are unable to buy a team or sponsor a hole, but would still like to make a donation, checks can be made out to The Crystal Hadlock Assistance Fund in care of Alexander’s
