For several weeks, Alexander’s has been preparing to acquire an HP Indigo 10000 in our facility located in Lindon, Utah. At last, after tearing down walls and building new ones to create a room with an environment ideal for the new machine, the 10000 is up and running!
Replacing our 5600, the 10000 runs in tandem with our 7000 and 7600 Indigos, the 10000 will take Alexander’s printing technologies to new heights.
Able to print up to 4,600 color B2-size sheets per hour, this press has an output and quality that can’t be beat. HP puts it like this, “Enabled by HP Indigo’s liquid ElectroInk technology and unique digital offset process, HP Indigo prints are of the highest quality. They match or even exceed offset, allowing them to be used interchangeably. ElectroInk also provides the widest digital color gamut using up to 7 ink stations on the press.” The HP Indigo 10000 has seven color support, including white ink printing capabilities.
One of the BIGGEST benefits of the 10000 is the 29.5 X 20.9-in sheet size, meaning larger projects that were originally limited to off-set presses can be printed faster with variable information. Says HP, “The 29 inch format enables highly efficient imposition of jobs and lowers the cost per copy, pushing the digital breakeven point vs. offset to new heights.” This also eases the load on our wideformat printer, allowing us to print bigger products with less expenses, saving you money.
