At Alexander’s we offer a broad range of products and services, but most fall under the categories of print, technology and marketing. This past week, the marketing and sales departments met to discuss some of our messaging and marketing goals for the upcoming months. During the meeting, I got to thinking about why a mix of print, marketing and technology are the best packaged communications solution anyone can offer. In short, holistic communications solutions should always include print, marketing and technology. Here is why:

Print
Alexander’s began as a print shop, but we quickly learned that expanding our print capabilities gave us the tools to help our customers grow their business and increase revenues. The value in print lies in its permanence and vibrancy. Printed materials have the potential for longer lasting, far-reaching communications impact. According to Nielsen research, 90% of consumers say they want to receive sales and promotions via direct mail. Print can reach people in a physical, enduring manner that digital media simply cannot. To anyone who claims that print is dead, I say you don’t know effective communications strategies. Print can take your message places that digital media cannot. Nowadays, Alexander’s can print almost anything. Vinyl banners, trade show booths, customized packaging, books, marketing kits, etc. We work with you to find the right way to incorporate print into your marketing.

Technology
While print is a robust portion of our business, we create and rely heavily on digital technology… We live in a world of immediacy, where people are plugged in to technology 24/7. So to better cater to customers, our Information Technology Team made ordering printed materials easier by creating online platforms, accessible through the click of your mouse. This connection between print and digital technology gives our clients streamlined approaches to marketing their products, helping them access printed materials faster. At Alexander’s our IT team is constantly working with companies and clients to integrate print technology with companies’ existing technologies, helping them boost their communication abilities.

Marketing
Not only do we offer online solutions to printing, we feel that communication solutions rely heavily on digital elements. In 2012, Alexander’s integrated with a digital marketing company to offer website development, SEO, social media strategy, public relations and other digital marketing services. Doing so not only improved our online reach as a company, but more importantly, it has allowed us to offer clients integrated communication. When people come to us with a communications problem, or a marketing issue, we don’t just help them design a banner or flyer with a message. We consult with the client, find out the problem, assess their needs, brainstorm and create a marketing plan that assimilates digital and printed elements.

In our world today, a message communicated through a single channel is too likely to be lost in the shuffle of information. Contact us today, and we’ll combine print, technology, and marketing elements to create you and your company an all-inclusive, multi-channel solution.
