Alexander’s Print Advantage received notable recognition at the Pacific Printing Industry Association’s annual PrintROCKS! award ceremony. Going head-to-head with print companies from seven different states, Alexander’s had two pieces rack up five major print awards.
The PPI Association honored Alexander’s with the 2019 Best of Division award (101+ employees). The recognition set Alexander’s atop the division of the largest print companies in the association and gave the company bragging rights for the next year.
Detailed below are the two award-winning kits.
The Tektured Sample Kit
Awards Won:
- Best of Division (101+ Employees)
- First Place – Self-Promotion (Printers with 101-250 employees)
- First Place – Foil Stamping
The Tektured sample kit wowed judges with its intricate and comprehensive detail that demonstrated some of the capabilities of Tektured. The complete kit collected three print awards in three different categories.
The sample kit featured red and silver foil that enhanced important wording and the illustrations. The foil showcased the abilities of Tektured and displayed the immediate increase in quality foil can create.
The kit also includes six different samples to give a glimpse of the various products and capabilities Tektured can provide. These samples remained consistent with the same sleek theme as the packaging. The proficiency in digital foil, spot UV and velvet lamination capabilities, bolstered the presentation and helped it to be chosen as the best print self-promotion campaign (printers with 101-250 employees). The Qualtrics Box
Awards Won:
- First Place – Media Kits
- Best Use of Mediums
The Qualtrics box received two of the top PPI print awards this year with its strong use of mediums to create an experience for recipients.
The purpose of the box invited individuals to the Qualtrics X4 Experience Management Summit and the SAP Sapphire Now Conference. The box also provided a unique experience that began as soon as the recipient lifted the lid. The bottom of the lid revealed a screen that automatically played a video from Qualtrics CEO Ryan Smith and SAP CEO Bill McDermott extending personal invitations to attend the conference.
The box also included a tray of chocolates shaped as X’s and O’s. These shapes were chosen because the two companies specialize in experience (X) and operational (O) data as well as because the boxes shipped near Valentine’s Day. Invitations to a VIP experience at both conferences could be found under the sheet of chocolates.
The video, chocolate and presentation of the box combine to create an impressive marketing kit. Judges deemed the box as the best marketing kit and the piece with the best use of mediums. The linked feature blog post details the award-winning Qualtrics box more extensively.
More Print Awards…
In addition to the print awards above, the Qualtrics box and the Tektured sample kit brought home two prestigious Benny awards in 2019. These two trophies are the most Bennies Alexander’s has received in a single year since 2016.
